Why are "Sold Out" items still on the monthly Price List?
Several members have asked why we still list items on the monthly Price List that cannot currently be ordered from Watkins. Specifically, in the U.S., they ask why some of the older spices in jars that have sold out are still listed. Canadians ask why Insect Repellents which have sold out for the season are still listed. The reasons those items are still on the Price List are:
The monthly flyers and price lists are accessible to all Watkins members. Besides people like you whose interest lies in the One Minute Business, some members pursue traditional selling with Watkins and may have inventory of those products on hand to sell to customers, even though no more are available to order from Watkins Corporate. If we removed those items from the Price List, consultants with inventory would have a harder time selling their remaining stock.
Those products are still shown in the Master Catalog, and we generally try to have the items on the Price List match what is shown in the Master Catalog.
