I'm not going to go into too much detail and will let this 1 minute video do the work. I'll just say that apps are the way of the future. I actually had a "need" and searched for an app to take care of it and actually did not find one! Perhaps someone will come up with it and you'll be one of the testers. It's pretty darn easy.
